Payment options

We offer various payment options to make your ordering process more convenient. You can choose to pay using any of the major Credit/Debit Cards, PayPal, or opt for Cash when collecting items in person.


Shipping information

Mainland UK Delivery
All delivery costs quoted are for UK Mainland destinations only, additional charges may be incurred for deliveries outside this area, this includes; the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man, the Isle of Scilly, Northern Ireland, and the Scottish Islands, don't hesitate to get in touch with us before purchasing.

Quotes for delivery charges are based on normal delivery conditions, any special measures must be made known to us before obtaining the quote. We exercise the utmost diligence in accepting and processing orders and will endeavour to deliver your order to an address anywhere in the United Kingdom.

Our standard parcels are sent using EVRi, FedEx, Yodel, or Royal Mail. We aim to pick, pack and dispatch all orders in the fastest possible time, usually within 48 hours except on weekends and bank holidays. Estimated delivery to UK Mainland destinations is 3 - 5 business days after dispatch from our warehouse.


It is your responsibility to provide a correct shipping address, if you provide wrong information about the shipping address which leads to the parcel not being delivered successfully and we need to re-ship items, this is not our responsibility and we will recharge any re-shipping fee.


Items that are sent to the shipping address supplied by you and a signature is required, when the items are signed for by someone according to the record shown on the delivery system, it is supposed that you will receive the items and we are not responsible for non-delivery of your order.


Expected delivery time (UK Mainland)

We advise that delivery can take up to 5 business days after your order has been dispatched from our warehouse. You may receive your item(s) sooner and we will always endeavour to ensure timely delivery but some postcodes may take longer to deliver to. Please note that these timescales are estimates, not guarantees and we shall not be liable for any delay in delivery of the products howsoever caused. Please allow longer delivery times during the Christmas and New Year periods.


Shipping services are as follows:

We use a network of delivery companies, and therefore your item(s) may arrive by post, courier, or on a pallet via a haulage company.


Standard delivery (Royal Mail, EVRi, FedEx, Yodel)

This service will be used for small to medium-sized parcels. Usually delivered 3 - 5 working days after dispatch from our warehouse, except Bank and Public Holidays (this is not a guaranteed service).


Extra large parcel delivery service

This service is used for extra large, bulky, and fragile items

Delivery costs within the UK are £50 - £160 depending on distance and the size of the piece. The price quoted is based upon front door delivery. Final rates vary by destination and complexity. Shipping charges may be higher for larger items requiring a 2-man delivery. For an accurate delivery cost or special requests please Contact Us.

Our extra large parcels are sent using a few trusted reliable courier companies including EVRi, Yodel, FedEx, TNT, and Tuffnells. We also use the delivery services of Shiply and AnyVan. Delivery costs will be more due to the size, weight or fragility of the product(s). Estimated delivery to UK Mainland destinations is 3 - 5 business days after dispatch from our warehouse.

The courier will unload the item(s) and take them to a ground-floor location. There must be sufficient parking close to the premises to enable the courier to unload the item(s) and deliver them safely. If no one is in to receive your parcel a re-delivery may be attempted or goods may be held at a local courier delivery depot. It is your responsibility to be in to receive your goods. When attempts have been made to deliver your parcel and you are not in, a re-delivery charge may be incurred.


Haulage company service

Certain larger, heavy, bulky items or a group of items will be delivered by a haulage company using a palletised service, which will be delivered to the kerbside by tail lift and it will be your responsibility to take the items into your property and to dispose of the pallet appropriately. There must be sufficient parking close to the premises to enable the haulier to unload the item(s) and deliver them safely. If there are any parking restrictions at your location, you must advise us of this at the point of order. They will be unable to deliver unless they have the necessary permission or permit. It is the responsibility of the customer to provide us with adequate permits/permission in time for delivery.

Palletised shipment can be a very cost-effective way of transporting a group of items.

Sub-contractor drivers are used and are not obliged to carry anything off the pallet or carry items onto your property. The haulage company will normally contact you directly to agree on a delivery date with you.

It is your responsibility to be in to receive, check, and sign for your goods. Goods must be checked in front of the driver immediately and signed for ‘in good condition. This is your opportunity to ensure you are happy with your order. If there is an issue, please contact us before returning any goods. Please note the signature will void a later claim for Damage in Transit with the haulier so you must check your goods right away before signing.

If you do notice, after delivery your item(s) to be faulty, not as described on our website or if you have received an incorrect item(s) this must be reported to us as soon as possible after receiving your delivery.

Very Important - You must be in to receive your goods on the date agreed with the haulage company. If you are not in, you will incur a re-delivery fee for the haulage company to re-deliver your goods on a specified and agreed day.


Collection in Person (Self-Pickup)
Certain items listed in our shop are for collection only due to the size, weight, or fragile nature of the item. You can collect your order in person from Steed and Fox, or arrange for your own courier to collect it. We are happy to help get a cost and arrange a courier on your behalf, just send us a message with your full delivery address.
Please note that collection must be booked at least 48 hours in advance. Failure to do so may lead to a delay or wasted journey as we are not always on-site to receive customers or items may not be ready for dispatch when you or the courier arrives to collect. We are unable to pack any items collected by any independent man with a van.


International buyers - Worldwide Shipping

All delivery costs quoted on our website are for UK Mainland destinations only. If you would like an item delivered to your country, simply send us a message by clicking Contact Us, don't forget to include your name, full postal address with your postal/zip code, the item name and the item number and we will search for the most competitive quote for you.

With an international client base, we are extremely experienced at organising shipping worldwide on your behalf. The couriers we use are professional, reliable, and offer an insured and secure service.

We ship to over 20 countries worldwide, including the USA, Canada, Australia, and many European destinations. We do our best to offer the most affordable yet safe shipping options for our customers. All shipping options will include tracking and insurance as standard.

Palletised shipment can be a very cost-effective way of transporting a group of items.

Container shipment direct from our warehouse can be shipped worldwide. If you are looking to buy in bulk then this is the option for you. Over 100 large items and an almost indefinite number of small items can be shipped in a 20-foot container.

Please note that we are not responsible for any shipping fees if an item is returned to us as an unclaimed package. The returned item will be put up for sale on our website again unless the buyer requests it to be re-shipped at their own expense.

We shall not be liable for any export or import duties/taxes, arising as a result of the goods being sent to a destination outside the United Kingdom. Buyers are responsible for any tax duties and customs charges that may be incurred in connection with any purchases, please check with the relevant authority in your country.

Any expected postal transit times quoted are not guaranteed and we cannot be held responsible for shipping transit times and any delays incurred. Please allow longer for items to be delivered during the Christmas and New Year periods.

We cannot guarantee our items if delivered outside of the United Kingdom. This is due to the increased cost of shipping to and from non-UK countries. Customers wishing to return and receive a refund for internationally purchased items will be liable for all the costs incurred for their return.

Additional information

Shipping fees

Please note that we are not responsible for any shipping fees if an item is returned to us as an unclaimed package. The returned item will be put up for sale on our website again unless the buyer requests it to be re-shipped at their own expense.


Delivery timescales

Any delivery timescales quoted to UK Mainland addresses are approximate only and not guaranteed, we shall not be liable for any delay in delivery of the products howsoever caused.


Packaging

We always do our best to pack all items with care, so that they arrive safely. We also take care to use recycled packaging materials wherever possible.


Shipping delays

Certain factors may delay the shipping of your order such as Public/Bank Holidays, Christmas and New Year periods and extreme weather conditions. This may mean we need a few extra days to process your order.


Information your parcel will contain

The parcel will contain an up-to-date delivery note/ invoice, listing items enclosed, please keep this until you are satisfied with everything. When returning items, please enclose your delivery note/ invoice and state the reason for the return to enable us to address any issues immediately.


Title of goods

Title to the goods passes to you the customer at the time of delivery or collection.
